Mühle Glashütte

Nautische Instrumente Mühle-Glashütte is now the only watch manufacturer in the German town of Glashütte that is still owned by a long-established local family. The family has been based in the Glashütte region for more than 700 years and has been working in the town’s watchmaking industry over a total of now six generations without interruption. The wristwatches produced by Mühle-Glashütte not only stand out due to their maximum level of precision, but also due to their robustness and reliability. The best example of these properties is the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer, which has been the wristwatch of choice on the rescue cruisers of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS) for nearly 20 years.
