Collection Montblanc "William Faulkner" 101186 is dedicated to the literary master of modernism. The form and surface of these unique instruments recreate the early creative period of the writer in the style of "Art Deco." A black-brown precious resin, shimmering like mother-of-pearl, reflects the bright shine of the platinum coating of its thin ring structure. On the cap precious resin is also decorated with the original signature of the writer. Particular attention is paid to manual processing. The Faulkner biplane slides through a layer of clouds on a gilded platinum 18-K. William Faulkner was one of the most significant American novelists of the 20th century. In his more than 50 books - novels, stories and collections - he again and again described the beauty and tragedy of his homeland on the Mississippi River. Faulkner was moved by the literary motivation "to drive the entire history of mankind into one sentence". To this day, he thus manages to attract readers to the whirlpool of dramatic destinies, spoiled values, violence and death, guilt and punishment. This is his avant-garde experiments with new stylistic elements, interwoven plots and complex shifts in points of view. Two-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1949.
This set includes Mechanical Pencil, Ballpoint Pen and Piston Fountain Pen.
